Moods of Lake Matheson

Lake Matheson, which is world famous, is named after an early settler of the Fox Glacier region and is renowned for its mirror reflections of the two highest mountains in New Zealand, Mt Cook and Mt Tasman.

This lake is only 5 minutes drive from Fox Glacier township, and features an easily accessible walking track around its edges.
